I've been sewing for as long as I can remember.  I remember Grandma making quilts, pajamas, aprons and doll clothes.  Mom sewed for her four girls. Grandma and Mom began my interest but then 4H really helped to develop my talent. That was eons ago. Three years ago we got our first whippet, Derby. The mega pet stores don't have much for hounds so I made a couple collars...then as winter came to Georgia I put together a coat, and another, and another. Then was the gold lame rain slicker. As I saw the interest of others I began making more and more items. Last year many of my coworkers requested collars and/or leads with their dog's names and phone numbers for their pet's Christmas stocking. After a long career with a major airline I decided to follow the hounds and my heart into my sewing room. I enjoy making custom one of a kind creations. I enjoy adding a touch of whimsey and elegance.  I welcome the challenge of fitting the design to a dog's personality. Please take a look around my site.
